We will carry out a planned migration of core platform infrastructure as part of a major upgrade to improve the performance, scalability, and resilience of GatewayAPI .EU
When 15 October 2026, 20:00-21:00 CEST (18:00-19:00 UTC)
Affected services • All customer-facing APIs • SMPP connections
Expected impact During the maintenance window, we expect a period of service unavailability of approximately 10-15 minutes. During this time: • API requests will fail or time out • SMPP connections will be disconnected, and new binds will not be accepted • Delivery reports may be delayed
The exact timing of the downtime within the window cannot be guaranteed, so please plan for possible disruption at any point between 18:00 and 19:00 UTC.
What you should do • Ensure your integration uses standard retry logic, with backoff, for transient errors and timeouts • Ensure SMPP clients are configured to automatically reconnect and re-bind • Retry any requests that fail during the maintenance window. Requests rejected during the downtime will not be processed automatically • Where possible, avoid scheduling time-critical or high-volume sends during the window
